Matt is a 3rd generation concrete placer and finisher with a successful business doing just that in Vancouver BC. Lexa is a project manager at a software company who loves working with start-ups. 

Within Axel, Matt is the artisan; creating the products and innovating new ways to do things with concrete. It's a creative passion project outlet for him that's different from his day-to-day. Lexa finds her creativity within Axel through her love of growing companies, and improving upon processes. Essentially Matt creates beautiful functional concrete decor, and Lexa wants to try and bring his creativity, skill, and innovation to the masses.
